Happy hump day! Jake and I had a great workout today! We each use different preworkout, I use AlaniNu rainbow candy flavor. Jake uses Ghost Legend black cherry flavor (see pictures below). I take half a scoop, since I don’t need much and Jake takes a full scoop. We go to Iron Pit Gym, here in Bloomington! It has such a great atmosphere, we love it!
The workout - I started with some preacher curls for biceps, I did 3 sets of 10, followed by 2 sets of 8. Then I moved onto triceps push downs and did 4 sets of 10.
Onto the cardio (my favorite)! I did the battle ropes for 4 sets, 20 second intervals and a final set at 30 seconds! Which doesn’t sound like much, but it’s harder than you’d think! I did 15 minutes on the rowing machine while Jake did some farmer carries. If you don’t know what that is, He picks up a weight in each hand, raises his shoulders and walks a certain distance. I did some body weight squats, 3 sets of 10 (I am limited on weights due to my back injuries). We both finished our workout with 5 minutes on the stair master. We usually don’t do so many things in one workout, but we had the time and motivation today! Normally, we would do one or two muscle groups followed by some form of cardio.
